HAFIZ RINGIM NO LONGER THE INSPECTOR GENERAL OF POLICE

The Inspector General of police, Hafiz Ringim, this morning tendered his resignation letter to the Federal Govt. Six DIGs also resigned. 
New IGP, Mohammed D. Abubakar
The new IG of police is Mohammed D. Abubakar, an Assistant Inspector General of police, in charge of Zone 12, Bauchi and also a one time Lagos State commissioner of police.
