Friday, April 1, 2016 at Four Points by Sheraton Hotels, Victoria Island Lagos, the slated date and venue for the all exclusive screening of Africa Magic's all new tv drama series, HUSH which featured Nollywood all time leading actor Richard Mofe Damijo, Thelma Okoduwa, Olu Jacobs, Chucks Chyke,  Baj Adebule, Meg Otanwa, Rotimi Adelegan, Mawuli Gavor and Ade Laoye.

"Hush is an exciting telenovella that explores the intriguing relationship between two powerful individuals, and the power tussle between players in fashion, politics, and high-society. The storyline is unique even as the acting promises to be exciting, given the caliber of the cast and crew involved. The story revolves around Bem and Arinola, artfully interpreted by Richard Mofe Damijo, the high-fly, super rich fashionista based in Lagos and Thelma Okoduwa-Ojiji, an astute fast rising politico. The intrigue begins when Bem proposes marriage to Arinola, an action that sets in motion a chain of events propelled by the secrets in their respective lives; secrets that run through the backrooms of secret societies, the corridors of the judiciary and on social media.

Plans has already been perfected for the prrmiere of Hush this Monday, April 4, 2016 on African Magic Showcase (DStv channel 151). The telenovella will air weeknights at 9pm CAT.

NEW NIGERIAN DIVA CRUISES INTO SECOND SEASON

After a successful maiden edition, an event which held at a well appointed venue, the Concorde Hotel, in Owerri, Imo State in December last year, the organizers of New Nigerian Diva is set for its second season.

The three – in – one event; reality show, beauty pageant and talent hunt is aimed at discovering and nurturing talents inherent in young female Nigerians in the areas of acting, modelling and singing, thereby helping them actualize their dreams by providing them with the requisite platform to leverage on.

According to the Executive Producer of the show who doubles as the CEO of Viewtrend Entertainment Limited, Mr. Dozie Eboh, this year's edition promises to be more exciting and extremely engaging. He also stated that the stakes are higher this time as the star prize is a plot of land in Lagos state (which is sponsored by Prestige Virtue Court and publishers of Royalty International Magazine) modelling contracts, a return ticket to a foreign country of choice plus recording deals

Young Person of the Year- Idris Akinbanjo

The future awards 2012 have come and gone! But, interestingly this years edition had a whole lot of nominees in most of the categories unlike the previous editions. For those that did not know, The Future Awards season 7 was hosted by Rivers State Government, in Port Harcourt and held on Sunday, August 26, 2012.

Obviously, the stakes were higher as a few categories where introduced, like "The Best Use of New Media" which had "GIDI TRAFFIC" clinching the award, beating 9 others to it.

Surprisingly, my dear LINDA IKEJI, the sole administrator of the ever popular lindaikeji.blogspot.com and unarguably one of the finest blogger of our time, did not win an award! I honestly thought she deserves the award for young person of the year, but, the judges and may be, just may be, the online voters too, did not share my opinion. Well, its all good.
